The life and works of Bruce Springsteen are to be discussed by academics at a conference devoted to the star.(BBC News, via the Rock and Rap Confidential newsletter.)
More than 150 papers are being presented at the symposium at Monmouth University in New Jersey, Springsteen's home state, from 9 September.
More than 500-people are expected to attend the three-day symposium, titled Glory Days, with a concert inspired by Springsteen's music also being staged.
